The Social Program at the Conference is a chance to connect with other delegates and enjoy fantastic dining and
cultural experiences.
The following social events are included in your registration for all registrants:
WELCOME receptioN
The NECA National President will officially open the Conference at the Piopiko Bar & Lounge. Enjoy the atmosphere of this funky bar space located within the conference venue, the ACE Hotel. The cuisine is a melding of flavours and cultures from Japan and Mexico. Enjoy drinks and canapes, whilst meeting other delegates and taking in the tunes from our guitarist.
Afterwards, it’s just a short stroll to a large number of dining or drinking venues or continue to relax in one of the ACE Hotel bars.

NETWORKING NIGHT
Experience one of Kyoto’s most iconic restaurants located in the hills of Higashiyama Kyoto where you’ll be treated to views of Yasaka Pagoda and Kodai-ji Temple. An Italian inspired buffet will be available for guests. Our entertainment will showcase the traditional art of the Samurai with a martial arts display.

CLOSING NIGHT PARTY
The final event for the NECA Conference 2025 will begin with a tour of the Sin-En Gardens, a spectacular example of Japanese gardens with traditional covered bridges, ponds and plants. Once inside our party venue we’ll showcase the famous Cherry blossom in one of the most luxurious reception halls in Kyoto. Entertainment will include traditional Geiko & Maiko singing & dance performances; and a Calligraphy booth where you can request your name to be written in Japanese. A formal sit-down 6-course menu of French inspired Japanese dishes will be served.
Dress Code: Smart Casual. All guests are encouraged to wear their Happi Coats provided in the conference welcome pack and accessorise with other traditional Japanese elements.
